With the new year approaching it is time of the year again when we celebrate hoping for positive things and this passing year does deserve a louder good bye and I know you all do agree with me. We all are hoping for better days and this all needs to be celebrated with the best of joy and festive cheer.

Champagne is the ultimate celebratory drink which is both effervescent and fabulous. Talking about New Year’s Eve it is the night which ritualizes the exciting possibilities that lay ahead in the upcoming year. You will go all out and better believe that includes the cocktails.

Yes, it is possible to make the champers even better. Little sprinklers, some pomegranate seeds can transform the bubbly drink into a celebration worth appreciating.
Strawberry Lemon Mimosa
A strawberry lemon mimosa sounds just so right for this New Year’s Eve all you need is a blender to make the strawberry puree and add your champagne to it. Yes, and this is a brunch favourite drink so you can start kicking off this year a little earlier.
 
Blackberry Lavender
This is champagne cocktail is one you would serve at New Year’s Eve. All you need is fresh lavender and blackberries in case you do not have fresh lavender you can always substitute them with dried flowers available locally. Fresh berries can also be replaced with frozen berries.

For this Lavender New Year’s Eve drink all you need to do is prepare lavender syrup and add to the champagne. Bring water and lavender to a boil and add sugar while whisking to make the syrup. Add one tablespoon of lavender syrup to champagne flute. Pour in champagne and top with peach juice. You can garnish with lavender flowers.

Serve this New Year’s Eve this mixed drink where you need to add vodka, Champagne and a combination of juices including orange, lemon, pomegranate and cranberry.

Not to fear – I’ve got you covered. And this New Year’s Eve this drink is just the right one for you. To make this drink In a small saucepan, bring the blackberried, water and sugar to a boil. Turn to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Strain blackberries and let syrup cool. Add 2 tbsp. of syrup to the bottom of each glass. Top with champagne and add in a sprig of thyme and 2 blackberries!
